Optional sharing of values: “Share value with AI” is off by default for each field. If you enable it after confirming the notice, current and future AI connections registered to this vault can read that value in full. This is separate from AI access, destinations and task approvals. For web connections, shared values pass through the relay server and AI service. The AI service’s storage and processing policies apply.

Values already sent to AI cannot be recalled by turning this setting off later. Choose carefully before sharing. After sharing is successfully disabled, new reads are blocked, but information already approved for delivery, in transit or delivered cannot be recalled. Changing a value or restoring a backup disables sharing; enabling it again requires confirmation.

1. Service

Bossanova provides software and account/subscription services that store secrets encrypted on your PC, restrict the default private AI tool path from returning raw secrets, and let a local executor use values for approved tasks. Vault files, raw secrets and decryption keys are not uploaded to the account server. Labels, descriptions and task information you permit may pass through AI connections, and values needed for tasks are sent to approved destinations.

2. Accounts

Accounts are created using Google sign-in or an email address and a one-time code. You are responsible for protecting access to your sign-in methods. One account can be used on the number of devices specified in the plan.

3. Subscriptions and payments

Payments are made through Dodo Payments as merchant of record. Taxes, receipts, refunds and disputes follow its procedures. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period and can be cancelled at any time through billing management on your account page.

4. End of subscription

When paid access ends, the Free plan applies. Existing information is preserved; exceeding the limit only restricts adding new information. Devices outside the device limit can still export an encrypted backup.

5. Scope of protection and limits of liability

Bossanova protects supported AI tool paths for fields whose value sharing is disabled. It does not guarantee that AI cannot learn secrets in every circumstance or that all access by your OS and other programs is blocked. • You put secrets in names or descriptions visible to AI, or disclose them directly through chat, file uploads, screen sharing or copy and paste.
• You grant AI, agents, extensions or remote-control tools administrator privileges, unrestricted commands, or access to files, screens, clipboard, accessibility features or process memory, allowing access outside Bossanova’s tool path.
• Malware, hacking, OS or account compromise, debuggers, keyloggers or modified apps/extensions compromise the device’s trust boundary. Bossanova is not antivirus or system-wide intrusion prevention software.
• Information is disclosed, forwarded or leaked at an approved destination or in documents, backups or exports you choose, or inferred from public information and permitted results.

Keep secrets in value fields, grant AI and other programs only the permissions they need, and check destinations, tasks and approval periods. Protect your master password, devices and accounts, and keep appropriate backups. tinygem cannot recover a lost master password for you.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, tinygem is not liable for losses caused by these user or third-party actions or external conditions where tinygem is not at fault. Their mere occurrence does not automatically exclude liability; responsibility depends on causation and each party’s fault.

This clause does not exclude or unfairly limit liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence by tinygem, its agents or employees; statutory liability for product defects or breaches of security obligations; or users’ rights and remedies guaranteed by law. Granting AI permissions or a third-party breach does not transfer all risks that the company should bear to the user.

7. Changes

Changes to these terms are published here with their effective date. Important changes are also sent to the account email. Changes disadvantageous to users take effect after legally required advance notice and any necessary consent. Merely publishing or viewing a notice does not constitute existing users’ consent, and liability limits are not applied retroactively to past losses.
